Men's Styling   Blow Drying   Spring Style   Races   Party Hair

Lets get some things "Straight" about blow drying at home.

Firstly give yourself a fighting chance and get a decent hair dryer.

Before starting put a little bit of styling product, protein spray or leave in treatment through your hair to protect it from the heat of your dryer. Be patient & dry your hair in sections, use some clips to help hold it up. To avoid the "frizzys" keep the dryer pointing downwards and be sure hair is fully dried (even the slightest bit of moisture will bring the frizzys back). Be sure that your dryer is not set to hot. Over drying will cause frizzys.

For extra volume:

  • At the roots - apply product to your roots, put you head upside down and blast.
  • At the part - blow your hair opposite to it's natural direction.
  • At the front & crown - get all the water out then use your round brush as a roller, roll it up & down, heat with your dryer, then let it cool (you can also use velcro rollers), then blast it out.
