The races are always a great excuse to wear a hat but if you can't find one to match your outfit, and can't get that prized Saturday morning appointment with your hairdresser then try this for the spring carnival to match the season's fashions.

For longer hair start at the nape and work in sections throughout the head tease the root area only, spray with ghd Iron Styling Spray, then heat with ghd Styling Iron. Remember just at the root. Continue all over your head. Leave to cool. Just a few minutes. Then pop head upside-down, gather the hair on top of the head loosely using a soft brush. Mid way down the length tie into a pony using a piece of elastic. Put your head back up and push mid lengths of pony onto its roots and pin leaving outside edges to softly fall down. Finish with dry hairspray. Lovely soft romantic look think 70’s "Flake Girl" ad. Feel free to add flowers or tasteful ornaments to suit look.
