Going to your Christmas Party straight from work here is a couple of options for a change from day to night. It is always better to wash and prepare your hair in the morning rather than the night before, and don't use too much styling product. If you have curl hair or fancy curls, take 2" sections, spray with iron styling spray, wrap around two fingers, remove fingers and heat hair, pin at root. This is a cute look through the day at work and then just before the party take the pins out and style as required. Finish with dry hair spray.

If you have long layered hair prepare in the morning by finishing your hair using iron oil and ghd Styling Irons for a smooth look, then just before party gather length into low pony in nape shake out layers, fasten pony into smoothie and leaving slight distance at root an tuck length up and under root of pony and pin. Continue shaking out the layers for shorter soft effect, finishing with a dab of Halo if needed, or for a more rugged effect give a light spray of ghd Sea Spritz and shake.

For a more finished/groomed look pull hair back as if you were doing a pony then twist and secure with pins, leaving ends to fountain out at crown, secure with ghd Dry Hair Spray/Iron Styling Spray depending on hold required. "Clean" with ghd Halo if required.

I know quite a few offices that have got together and purchased a communal pair of ghd Styling Irons and Iron Oil to use after work. You can even do each others hair. Be warned though they are very addictive and if you aren't a "good sharer" fights may break out.
